Soup Restaurant at Seah Street is now reopened in style!

Soup Restaurant at 39 Seah Street is located in a 2- storey old shop house which is facing the rear entrance of the iconic Raffles Hotel.

The shophouse has a façade with Palladian windows & details of Renaissance Ionic, Doric & Corinthian orders & in a style similar to the famous Raffles Hotel’s main building which is late Victorian Italianate Revival design and was extremely fashionable in the early 1900’s.

The interior design & ambience of the restaurant is Oriental but kept simple with Chinese timber lattice details for its doors & wall panels, Vintage European glass lampshades & fittings hanging mid-way beneath the 4.5m high ceiling helps to balance the Oriental ambience with a European flair. The end result is a quintessentially Singaporean blend of old & new, East & West, heritage & new technology.
